I have been a chiropractic patient since I was in high school. My dad would send me to his chiropractor for a quick “tune-up” every time I would get this certain back pain that usually occurred during the football season like clockwork. Sure enough, a day or so later, the pain was gone and I was back in action. My experiences with chiropractic really didn’t change much until my wife, Dr. Lauren, started looking into chiropractic colleges for her graduate studies.
The more I learned about chiropractic and the innate power of the body, the more interested I became! Soon, I was signed up along with my wife to attend the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. We spent over 4 wonderful years there with great friends and great neighbors, all while getting a fantastic education.
It was during this time at Palmer that I learned just how amazing the human body is. I learned how we are constantly changing and repairing; how we are designed to heal ourselves; how the nervous system controls ALL functions in the human body, and, most importantly, the power that I as a chiropractor can have in helping the body to function better.
I love to educate patients on how to get healthy and stay healthy. One of my favorite quotes is, “Health is easy, Disease is hard!” I think that sums it up pretty nicely. It’s much easier to stay healthy than to get healthy. That’s why it’s important to have a regular chiropractic check-up.
I love to work with children especially, since I know that if I had seen a chiropractor as a young child, I would not have had that episodic back pain and could have even excelled more in athletics than I did. I want all of my patients to reach their ultimate potential!
I love to spend my free time with my wife, Dr. Lauren, and my two kids. They are two of the happiest and healthiest kids you’ll meet! They’ve never needed a hospital visit or medication – prescribed or over-the-counter. They have both been adjusted since birth and continue to get regular treatments. You’ll often see us out for walks or bike rides, enjoying the beautiful Loveland weather! I also enjoy volunteering with my church and giving back to the community in any way that I can.
